My aunt was viscously attacked by a German Shepherd. I believe all German Shepherds should be put down. They are bred to maul and attack people.

I certainly hope this isn’t presented as an actual factual “article”. Could you please cite your sources for pit-bulls being “maulers” above other breeds such as German Shepherds or Chows? Could you cite your sources for % of dogs in massachusetts that are pit bulls vs. % of dog bites committed by pit bills? This article is frankly an abject failure and a piss poor example of journalism. I’m almost certain I could craft a more effective piece and I’m a bloody software developer. This is the first article I’ve seen from this paper and if the rest of it is anything like this, it will be the last.

Get rid of all the illegals sucking the system dry. I used to live in everett and am shocked by the downfall of that city everytime i visit. This is what happens when you invite scumbag illegals into your city. What a shame, glad I moved. All elected officials should be ashamed of themselves. Everett is the new third world shithole.

I find this response to Coucnillor Miller very interesting—and – while we are tossing around farm-related analogies–I suggest that those who have made supposedly Herculean efforts to explain –are too invested in their own interests—sort of like hiring a fox to guard the chicken coop…..Time and again – when people have asked legitimate questions—and called for more stringent measures -this is not complaining over issues past—without a solution—indeed—these are continuing issues that have been called into questions as far back as Mayor McCarthy’s time—and- just as the Leader Herald rose to the defense of both the Mayer and the School Department—and later the Advocate- so is this paper. I think the concern that Ms. Miller has shown should be commended- not condemned—It is quite apparent that a huge part of the problem is that there is always an excuse —and never a solution….and those that have called for stricter adherence to budgetary principals–or a better system of checks and balances from within – always get called trouble makers….When – truth be told – the true trouble makers are those who whistle in the dark and say all is well —it is THEY who continually forget to lock the barn —so – how many livestock have to be stolen—how much Cow – stuff do we have to have thrown – before we take responsibility and do something…Go Get ‘em Councillor……

Just because someone usess a chain collar or leash does not prove that the dog is a danger!
Pit bulls have been a mixed breed from breeders though out the years…. but that does not mean they the bread are a danger.. There are many dogs who are agressive, and potentilly a danger but its not the WHOLE breed to blame. its the living situation, the training, the owner…. and for that i dont believe the pitbull breed should be banned from any city, if thats how you feel lets start going back to being racist against people because of their skin. Animals can’t speak for themselves so we have to do it for them
