Gerard Giove

Lifelong Everett resident

Gerard H. Giove of Everett entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 12 in the CHA-Everett.  He was 66 years old.

Born in Boston, Gerard lived in Everett for all of his life.  He owned a restaurant for many years. Fishing was Gerard’s passion.  Any chance he had would be spent on the water trying to catch “the big one.”

He was the beloved son of the late Mary (D’Amore) and Stephen V. Giove, dear and devoted brother of Rosemarie Whalen and her husband, James of Punta Gorda, FL and Stephen N. Giove and his wife, Diane  of Everett and loving uncle of Lisa Whalen, Cassandra Schembri, James, Stephen and Michael Whalen and Stephen D. Giove.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, especially, Paul and Larry Giove, and all of his lifelong friends from Swan Street Park.

Services are private.  Contributions in Gerard’s memory to the charity of one’s choice would be sincerely appreciated.  Arrangements are by Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett, 617 387.3120

Caterina Mustacchia

Of Peabody, formerly of Everett

Caterina (Puleo) Mustacchia of Peabody, formerly of Everett, died on June 15.

She was the beloved wife of Nicola Mustacchia, loving mother of Charles Mustacchia and his wife, Lala of Everett, Frank Mustacchia of Malden and Maria Serra and her husband, John of Peabody. She is also survived by five beloved grandchildren: Edera, Aleks, Nick, Sofia, and Stella. She leaves many siblings in Italy, one in the United States and many loving nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett today, Wednesday, June 20 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New England-American Liver Foundation, liverfoundation.org.
