John ‘Butch’ Connors

Late Schaivo Club President

John F. “Butch” Connors of Everett died on June 4.

Butch was the late President of the Schaivo Club in Everett and a Veteran with the United State Air Force.

He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia “Patty” (Branchi, loving father of Michael D. Connors and his wife, Candida of Methuen and the late Michele Connors. He is survived by two beloved grandchildren: Jessica and Ryan Connors. He has many late siblings and survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary and Nancy Connors as well as many loving nieces and nephews. His Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Homes, 331 Main St, Everett on Friday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. Services will commence in the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Complimentary valet parking at Main Street entrance. John Aucello

Owner of general construction, Polo Corporation

John Aucello of Everett was called home to the Lord on May 29 and reunited with his beloved wife, Jane and his son and best friend, John.

John never retired and has been actively running Polo Corporation, his general construction company, for over 40 years. John also proudly served his country in the 102nd Air National Guard Division as a staff sergeant.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary of Everett, his daughter-in-law, Barbara (Burton) of Saugus and his brother, Stephen of Stoneham. He is also survived by his most cherished granddaughters, Samantha and Stephanie.

Francesca DeBenedictis

Favorite aunt to many generations

Francesca (Armato) “Zia Franca” DeBenedictis of Malden, died on May 27.

Francesca was a favorite aunt to many generations of her family and will be sorely missed.

Born in Montevago, Sicily, she was the beloved wife of the late Antonio, sister of Gina Valenti of Lawrence and the late Vita Cascio and is also survived by seven nieces and nephews: Lia, Angela, Antonette, Francesca, Gino, Roberto, Maria and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
