Mary Ann Foti, a lifelong resident of Everett, entered into rest at home surrounded by her loving family on January 24. She was 69 years old.
Born in Everett, Mary Ann was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1966. From 1966 until 2004, Mary Ann worked at MIT as an administrative secretary, retiring after over 38 years of service.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Josephine “Angie” (Basile) Foti; dear and devoted sister of Nancy R. Foti of Everett, Frank S. Foti and his wife, Rose of Billerica, Sadie Graziano of Saugus and Josephine G. Foti of Everett; loving companion of the late L. David “Dave” Derby; loving grandmother of John and Ava Tamasi; dear Godmother of Julie Martin, Jennifer Tamasi and Dawn Powers and Godchild of Jackie Colangelo of Everett. Mary Ann is also survived by five loving nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Contributions in Mary Ann’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be sincerely appreciated.
