Two shootings in two days are under investigation by Everett Police this week, though no major injuries were reported in either incident.

On Wed., Nov. 16 at 2:40 p.m., several 9-1-1 calls were reported to Everett dispatch about possible gunshots in the area of Wilbur Street by Stevenson Avenue. There was no one on scene, but police did recover several shell casings.

Several minutes later, Malden 9-1-1 received a call from a male gunshot victim with non-life threatening injuries. The victim had driven to a residence and reported the incident.

The victim stated the incident happened in Malden, but a check of the GPS bracelet he was wearing showed him to be in Everett at the time of the shooting.

The victim has been uncooperative with Everett Police detectives regarding this incident.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, at 8:02 p.m., Everett Police responded to the area of Nichols and Florence Streets for a report of several gunshots and a house that had been hit.

There was no reported victims, but the house on the corner was struck by gunfire. The suspect fled on a motorcycle before police arrived.

Both incidents are open investigations conducted by the Everett Police detectives.
