TO HELP THOSE IN NEED
Mayor Carlo DeMaria recently welcomed Everett United to City Hall for the City’s Annual Holiday Toy Shopping and Delivery event. Everett United delivered hundreds of toys to City Hall to be distributed to Everett children for Christmas. The members of Everett United previously picked out the toys and held a holiday party where the toys were collected.
“This time of year can often be a tough for some,” states Mayor DeMaria, “Those of us that are fortunate enough to have our health and happiness must remember the true spirit of the season – caring for and helping those less fortunate. I would like to once again thank Everett United for organizing a great event for an important cause.”
