Angelo DiPierro

Of Everett

Angelo DiPierro of Everett died on December 13. Born in Chiusano San Domenico, Avellino, Italy, he was the husband of Filomena (Moullo); father of Jerry, Nicole R. and her fiance’, Mario, Anthony and his wife, Elizabeth, and Michael J., all of Everett; son of the late Ciriaco and Nicolina (Cataldo); brother of Rosa DeMaria and her husband, Carlo and Josephine Massua and her husband, Albert, both of Everett. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Anthony N., Salvatore, Ella, Anthony Jr. and Mikayla and by many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett on Thursday, December 18 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. Anthony Church, Everett, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Carolyn Bianchi

Of Malden, formerly of Everett

Carolyn A. (Covino) Bianchi of Malden, formerly of Everett, died on December 13 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She was 78 years old.

Born and raised in Everett, Carolyn was a longtime employee at Market Forge in the payroll office and then worked for Spaulding and Slye from which she retired after 25 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late George, who passed on April 25; devoted mother of Georgiann Bonaventura and her husband, Anthony of Peabody, Carla Bianchi and her husband, Nicholas Pittella of Wilmington and Toni Rau and her husband, Dolph of Saugus; cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Gino, Logan and Lilly.; dear sister of Barbara Morris and her husband, James of Virginia and the late Vera Tocci, Phyllis Griffin, Mary Diamond, Ann Hummel and her surviving husband, Jack of New York, Lawrence Covino, Louis Covino and his surviving wife, Carmella, and the late Josephine Clifford and her surviving husband, Warren.

Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, December 18 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Malden at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Ellen Attanasio

Retired Professional Chef

Ellen L. (Brady) Attanasio of Everett entered into rest on Saturday, December 13 in the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. She was 73 years old.

Born in Cambridge, Ellen has lived in Everett for the last 15 years. She was a chef by profession having previously worked at St. John’s Seminary.

She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Josephine (Boyden) Brady; dear and devoted mother of Scott J. Harris and his wife, Kim of Derry, NH and the late Jonellen Ortiz; sister of Jackie Brady of Marblehead, Jeannie Drohan of Medford and the late Josephine Saccardo; loving grandmother of Courtney and Scott J. Harris, Jr. and David Dollosa and great-grandmother of Alianny, Daniel and Joniel Dollosa.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ellen’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, December 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Josephine ‘Jo’ Clifford

Lifelong Everett resident

Josephine “Jo” (Covino) Clifford, born in and a lifelong resident of Everett, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 10 in the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was 87 years old.

 She was the beloved wife of Warren T. “Chickie” Clifford; daughter of the late Carlo and Antoinette Covino; dear and devoted mother of Joy Pippy and her husband, Glenn of Peabody and the late Kevin C. Clifford; sister of Carol Bianchi of Malden, Barbara Morris and her husband, James of Virginia and the late Lawrence and Louis Covino and his surviving wife, Carmella Covino of Everett, Vera Tocci, Phyllis Griffin, Mary Diamond and Ann Hummel and her surviving husband, Jack Hummel of New York; loving grandmother of Jarred, Andrew and Daniel Pippy and Brendan, Colby and Kyle Clifford. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and close friends.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.  Entombment was in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Josephine’s memory to the Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284, would be sincerely appreciated.
