Adeline ‘Lil’ Prestera

Retired Bookkeeper City of Everett Auditor’s Office; Past President of Everett Post 176 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary

Adeline “Lil” (Luciano) Prestera of Everett died peacefully at home on August 17.

She was a retired bookkeeper for the City of Everett Auditor’s Office and Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 176, Everett.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Cosmo and Rosa (Uliano) Luciano; dear and devoted mother of Linda and her husband, Bill Williamson of Saugus, Francine and her husband, Robert Christensen of Saugus, Robert Prestera of Everett, Roseann Prestera and Leo Norton of Malden and the late Cheryl and Steve Dulock of Methuen; sister of the late Joseph, Carmen, Victor, Mario, Palmer and Alfred Luciano, Jennie Lambert and Helen (Yola) Ranieri; loving grandmother of Steven and Maria Dulock, Michael Dulock and Maureene Gaffney, Jenni and Jessica Williamson and Krista Christensen and great-grandmother of Nicholas and Joseph Dulock.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Adeline’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, August 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. John Cacchiotti

Retired GE Engineer

John O. Cacchiotti of Danvers, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 13 in the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. He was 87 years old.

A US Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was born in East Boston and lived in Everett for most of his life before settling in Danvers. He was a retired engineer who worked for over 40 years at the General Electric Company.

He was the beloved son of the late Augusto and Anna Maria (Donadio); devoted brother of Alfonso Cacchiotti of East Boston and the late Albert and Augustine; loving uncle of Anna Healey of New Hampshire, Lisa Maki of Topsfield, Paul Cacchiotti of East Boston and Roseanne Chambers of New Hampshire; brother-in-law of Jean Cacchiotti of Topsfield. John’s funeral service with Military Honors was held in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 would be sincerely appreciated.
