Hearing.

Last Tuesday, Mayor Carlo DeMaria had the pleasure of speaking at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission final Public Hearing.  Once again, Mayor DeMaria and the City of Everett showed that Wynn is the best bet for Everett and for Massachusetts.

The Mayor explained the opportunity the development could present the City in terms of resources and funds, all of which could help shape and develop the City into the vision that residents have shared and presented for the future of Everett.

In keeping with the Commission’s effort to ensure a fair, transparent and participatory process, the Commission invited and encouraged public participation at the meeting as well as throughout Phase 2 of the application process. The public has had the opportunity to address the Commission at several host and surrounding community meetings.

“This was a great opportunity to display the latest progress on the proposed development that the Wynn Group has skillfully been designing for the last two years,” states Mayor DeMaria, “I want to also thank the hundreds of residents and supporters who came together these last two years and stood up for our future and showed to the Gaming Commission that Wynn Resorts will be a strong and reliable partner for Massachusetts.”
