Mayor Carlo DeMaria recently welcomed Wynn Everett and the Boston Bruins Organization to City Hall for the Bruins Annual Holiday Toy Shopping and Delivery event. The Bruins Organization and Blades the Bear delivered hundreds of toys to City Hall to be distributed to Everett children for Christmas. The Bruins players previously picked out the toys at Target in Everett.
“This time of year can often be a tough for some,” states Mayor DeMaria, “Those of us that are fortunate enough to have our health and happiness must remember the true spirit of the season – caring for and helping those less fortunate. I would like to once again thank Wynn Everett and the Boston Bruins Organization for organizing a great event for an important cause.”
