Students Take Part in Fun and Educational Summer Robotics Program

E1E1Students in the Everett Public Schools Summer Enrich­ment Program had the chance to participate in a fun and educational robotics program. For two hours each day, the students worked on computer programming and learned how to use robotic arms. They also completed a research project to create their own invention and use for a robotic arm. During this process, they learned key math and sci­ence terms and skills. Teachers incorporated Common Core Standards into the curriculum, including the use of angles, degrees, simple machines, and complex machines. The students were quick learners and were able to maneuver the robotic arms accurately and efficiently. Overall, it was a great experience and opportunity for the students.
