John Fitzpatrick

Retired Shipper

John E. Fitzpatrick of Peabody, a longtime resident of Peabody, died at North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital on September 6. He was 53 years old.

Born in Boston and a retired shipper for retail stores, he was the beloved son of the late John C. and Margaret T. (McDermott) Fitzpatrick; dear and devoted father of  John E. Jr. and Mark S. of N. Smithfield, RI; loving brother of  Deborah A. O’Neill and her husband, Kevin, Kevin M.  and Michael J. of Everett and Paul of Florida; cherished grandfather of Tyler John and Sophia Marie Fitzpatrick.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John’s visiting hour in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main Street) Everett on Thursday, September 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.  Interment  will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, contribution in John’s memory to The Community Family Adult Day Health Center, 106 Wyllis Ave. Everett, MA, 02149, would be sincerely appreciated.

Ernest Caezza

US Postal Service Retiree

Ernest A. Caezza, a longtime resident of Everett, died on September 3 at his daughter’s home in North Reading after a brief illness.  He was 90 years old.

Born in Somerville, he was a retired Special Delivery Messenger for the US Postal Service and a US Navy and US Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

He was the beloved husband of the late Milina (Belmonte) for over 60 years; dear and devoted father of Catherine Richard and her husband, Robert of N. Reading, Anthony Caezza and his wife, Christine of Dracut and Joseph Caezza of Methuen.  Ernest, who was predeceased by six siblings, was the loving grandfather of Bobby Richard and his wife, Tara Lee, Nick, Kimberly, Adam, Noah and Benjamin Caezza.

Funeral arrangements were by Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment with military honors was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Contributions in Ernest’s memory to the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150, would be sincerely appreciated.

Michele Tremonte

Of Everett

Michele Tremonte of Everett died on August 31. Born in San Marco dei Cavoti, Benevento, Italy, he was the beloved husband of Diodorina “Doreen” (Marzullo); loving father of Angela Staffiere and her husband, Anthony of Wakefield and Joseph and his girlfriend, Karen, both of Everett; proud grandfather of four: Michael, Marisa, Leanna and Emily. He was predeceased by six siblings.

Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Thomas Connors

Of Mississipi, formerly of Everett

Thomas J. Connors of Mississippi,formerly of Everett, died on August 29.

He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Roberta (Pitari) Connors; loving father of John J. Connors of Mississippi, Carol Connors of Athol, Barbara Connors of Stoneham, Thomas J. Connors, Jr. and his wife Laura of Medford and the late Chad “Bull” Connors; cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of three; dear brother of seven sisters and four brothers.
