Blue balloons, prizes, coffee and cookies were available throughout the week of April 8-12 to welcome and inform members about the services available at Mass Bay Credit Union’s new Everett Branch location at 183 Main Street, which opened January 2013.

“Our Grand Opening is a great way to show our appreciation to our current members who may live or work in the Everett area. We’re also broadening to the new community,” says Maren Bradley, Marketing and Member Development Manager.

On Monday — in celebration of Fenway Park’s opening day – employees donned Red Sox t-shirts and jeans, and the first 25 people to open a new account received a Sox mug.

During Going Green Day, Tuesday, those who signed up for eStatements to receive electronic financial statements, or opened an account, were given a Mass Bay reusable tote bag.

Enterprise Auto Sales was onsite Wednesday for Mass Bay members to learn about the deals available for purchasing previously owned vehicles, such as Annual Percentage Rates as low as 1.49%.

“The most important thing for members to know is that as long as you live or work within our membership, you’re able to become a member at Mass Bay Credit Union,” Bradley says about the message she hopes to Everett.

Anyone who opened a youth account on Thursday received a free gift and the first ten children ages 12 and under who opened an account, were given a $25 deposit. The Kids Club was launched this January, and the Credit Union is currently in the process of posting financial education games on the website for children.

Friday was the Credit Union’s raffle drawing for members to win a 42” flat screen TV, iPad Mini, gift cards, and more.

“We’re excited to be here and received such a warm reception from businesses, the people, the Chamber of Commerce, and Mayor Carlo DeMaria,” says Bradley. “Everybody has been wonderful.”
