Thelma Massey

Of Malden, formerly of Everett

Thelma I. Massey of Malden, formerly of Everett, died on March 12.

She was the beloved wife of the late J. Wesley Massey and the late Sylvester “Duke” Anderson, Sr.; mother of Sylvester “Duke” Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Cecelia and was predeceased by six siblings.  She is also survived by one granddaughter, Charlene and by many nieces and nephews.

Lucy Rago

Of Everett, formerly of the North End

Lucy A. (Bucchino) Rago of Everett, a former resident of Boston’s North End, died peacefully at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere. She was 96 years old.

The daughter of the late Cosmo and Maria (DelVecchio) Bucchino, Lucy was born and raised in Boston’s North End.

A devoted wife and mother who was happy caring for her family and who had a special love for her grandchildren, she was an Everett resident for many years and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Rago. She leaves her devoted children: Alphonse Rago and his wife, Gail of Brockton, Lucille Iovanni and her husband, Michael of Peabody as well as her loving grandchildren Nicole and Michael.  She was a dear sister to the late Angelo Bucchino, Alphonse Bucchino, Rose Moretti and Helen Giacchino and also leaves many dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, today,  Wednesday, at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover Street, Boston’s North End at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucy’s name to the Activity Fund of the Lighthouse Nursing Center, 204 Proctor Ave., Revere, MA 02151.

Anthony Ferraro

Worked at Tufts University

Anthony J. Ferraro of Revere, formerly of Everett and Marblehead, died on March 17 at Beverly Hospital. He was 70 years old.

Born in Malden, the son of the late Angelo and Rose (Fallavollita) and a former employee of Tufts University, he was the beloved husband of Sheila M (White); devoted father of Anthony Ferraro and Lisa Ferraro, both of Danvers; dear brother of Robert Ferraro of Wilmington, Irene Wastaferro of Revere, Rose “Dolly” Standley of Georgetown and Angelo Ferraro of Lynnfield and is also survived by two loving grandchildren Gianna Rose and Nicholas Anthony and by many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, March 21 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. William Kryzovic

Of Everett

William D. Kryzovic of Everett died on March 11 at the Chelsea Skilled and Rehabilitation Center. He was 76 years old.

William was born on June 24, 1936 in Everett, one of two children of the late John and Hannah (Cahill). William was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School Class of 1954. He continued his studies and graduated from Boston College, Class of 1959.

He is survived by his brother ,Atty. John F. Kryzovic, former Everett City Solicitor.

Funeral arrangements were by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, Everett. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William’s name to the Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149

Theresa ‘Terry’ Barile

Of Reading, formerly of the North End

Theresa R. “Terry” Barile of Reading, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on March 13.

Extremely active in physical fitness activities, she was born in Montefalcione, Italy and was the longtime companion of Dick Callahan. She was the daughter of the late Federico and Luisa (Barile) Dello Iacono; sister of Joseph Dello Iacono of Everett, Amato Dello Iacono of Boston and Maria Leo of West Peabody and is also survived by three nephews, Sabatino, Fiore and Rico; two nieces, Luisa and Theresa; six great nieces and great nephews and by many friends especially her dear friend, Santa.

Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Burial was at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Giuseppe ‘Pino’ Giorgione

Of Medford

Giuseppe “Pino” Giorgione of Medford died on March 11.

The beloved husband of Tina (Sessa), he was the father of Emilio and his wife, Kathleen of Woburn, son of Antonietta (Cascaldi)  and the late Emilio and brother of Frances Ciasullo, Anthony, both of Salem and Adele Serluca of Italy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
