She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond MacCuish; devoted mother of Donna Richmond and her husband, Roger of Malden and Raymond MacCuish of Wilmington; loving grandmother of Patrick and Sarah Richmond and Raymond Jr. and Kody MacCuish; dear sister of Louise Koczorowski and her husband, Anthony of Chelsea and the late Michael and Anthony Flammia and the loving companion of Richard Sheehan of Everett. John ‘Big John’ Belmonte
Longtime Manager of Cheapo Records, Cambridge
John G. “Big John” Belmonte of Malden died on August 31 at the Lifecare Center in Stoneham. He was 77 years old.
Born in Cambridge and a longtime resident of Malden, Mr. Belmonte created “Oldies and Goodies” and was the longtime manager of Cheapo Records, Cambridge.
He was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Kelley); dear and devoted dad of Christopher J. Belmonte and his wife, Cindy of Wellesley and loving Papa of Victoria Belmonte.
His Funeral will be held from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett
Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Wayland on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Contributions in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., Boston, MA 02110 would be sincerely appreciated.
Of Peabody, formerly of East Boston
Edward Cayon of Brooksby Village, Peabody, formerly of East Boston, died on August 31. He was 87 years old.
Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Remejio and Rosalia (Feijos) Cayon and was a graduate of East Boston High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and was a Bombardier with the 28th Bomb Group and 404th Bomb Squad in the Japan Air Offensive.
Upon returning after the war, Mr. Cayon was a computer programmer with Shawmut Bank of Boston. He was a pioneer in computerizing the check processing system at the bank, and enjoyed his 35 year career. He also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, was very supportive of Little League Baseball and other childrens sports and also enjoyed playing cribbage. He was a Past President of the North Shore Skating Club and liked a variety of music from the 1940’s swing to Elvis and the early Beatles.
He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (Pedoto) Cayon, dear father of Veronica and Arthur Avakian of Franklin, Doreen and Paul Kelly of Everett and Stephanie and David Pfeiffer of Winthrop; grandfather of eight and great grandfather of 12; brother of George Cayon of Winchester and Rosalie Clark of New York and also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was son of the late Remejio and Rosalia (Feijos) Cayon and brother of the late Roy, Mario, Jimmy and Arthur Cayon, Mary Crosby, and Angelina MacDonald.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather today, Wednesday, September 5 at 10 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Mary L. (McLaughlin) O’Neil of Naples, Florida, formerly of Melrose, died on August 29.
She was the loving wife of Gerard W. O’Neil; step mother of Timmy O’Neil and his wife, Brenda of Maynard and Paula Vandurne and her husband, Jack of Georgetown; sister of Charles McLaughlin and his wife, Elaine of Marshfield, David McLaughlin and his wife, Anne of Gloucester and Robie McLaughlin of Everett. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Franco Santonastaso, a longtime resident of Everett, died at home on August 31. He was 57 years old.
Born in Teano, Italy and the co-owner of Looking Good 2000 Beauty Salon, Beverly for over 28 years, he was the beloved husband of Concettina “Tina” (Colella); dear and devoted father of Luigi Santonastaso and his wife, Marisol and Angelica Santonastaso of Everett; brother of Luigi and Paride Santonastaso and Annamaria Izzo of Italy and Giuseppina Camilli of Newton and loving grandfather of Nico and Mia Santonastaso and Michael Suarez.

David F. Giuliano of Malden died on August 28.
Mr. Giuliano was educated in Malden and worked in the auto body repair profession for many years. He spent many summers at the family cottage in Plum Island. His passing will forever leave a huge empty void in our lives. We love you Dave.
