Elva Bowden

Former Bunco Girls Member

Elva M. Bowden of Everett died on August 2.

A former member of the “Bunco Girls,” she was the mother of Peter and his wife, Donna of Revere, Barbara of New Hampshire, William of Austin, Texas and the late Lawrence and his surviving wife, Cathy; sister of the late Mary Kinsella, Florence Alton and Albert Condon; aunt of Carole Alton and many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great grandsons.

Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett on Thursday, August 9 at 10:30 a.m. with a prayer service in the funeral home at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Gaspero ‘Happy’ Trainito

Of East Boston, formerly of Chelsea

Gaspero C. “Happy” Trainito of East Boston, formerly of Chelsea, died on August 3.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Lois (Robinson) Trainito; devoted father of Peter Trainito and his wife, Marilyn of Chelsea, Daniel Trainito and his wife, Doris of Revere, Stephen Trainito of Haverhill, Scott-Allen Trainito and his wife, Diane of Everett, and Rosmarie Petersine and her husband, Darryl of Sydney, Ohio; dear brother of Valeria Trainito of East Boston, Crocifissa “Fannie” Morano and Stefano Trainito, both of California and  the late Gaetana “Annie”, Rosaria “Rosie”, and Angelo Trainito. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great grandson.

His Funeral will be held from the Frank A. Margaret M. (Buono) Calvino of Arlington died on August 2.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles N. June ‘Dolly’ Lanciani

Retired Teacher

June R. “Dolly” Lanciani of Gloucester died on July 27 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House. She was 87 years old.

Teaching was her profession and many students remained in touch years after graduating. Her true love was Manhattan, theatre, and music. Rest in Peace, Dolly.

She was born September 3, 1925 to Bernardo and Rose (Brophy) Fazioli. She was raised in Boston, graduated from Everett High School in 1943 and was an honors graduate of Radcliffe in 1947.

She was the widow of the late Daniel M. Lanciani who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her only child, Daniel D. Lanciani who died in February of 2012. She is survived by her brother Clive B. Fazioli and his wife, Suzanne of Andover,

Terezinha DaSilva

Malden Resident

Terezinha (Filho) DaSilva of Malden died on July 30 in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 70 years old.

Born in Brazil, she lived in Malden for many years and was the beloved wife of Gerson DaSilva; dear and devoted mother of Adilson DaSilva, Aparecida Araujo, Waleson DaSilva, Rubens DaSilva, Gilmar DaSilva Adriana Pereira and Gerson DaSilva. She leaves sisters and brothers in Brazil and is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren.

Rita Phyllis Fiore

Of Florida, formerly of Everett

Rita Phyllis (Ryan) Fiore of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Saugus and Everett. died on July 29.

The wife of the late Rudolph Fiore, she was the loving mother of Kathryn Fiore and her husband, Ernest Groom, Jr., Carol Fiore, Donna Fiore and John Fiore; beloved grandmother of Alicia Gillespie and great grandmother of Sean Gillespie. She was predeceased by her parents Philip and “Agnes” Annie (Mitchell) Ryan, her twin sister, Ruth Lang and her brother, Jack Ryan and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Josephine M. Simione of Everett died on August 1. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Aquaviva); sister of Theresa Halfelder, Eileen DiCato, Anne DeViller, all of Everett, Joseph Jr. of West Peabody and the late Frank and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

AKA ‘Mike the Barber’

Michael “Mike the Barber” Vigliotte of Melrose, formerly of Revere and Florida, died on July 30 at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. He was 94 years old

A barber, he was a member of the K of C Council 85 4th Degree Knight, St Anthony’s Holy Name Society and the Sons of Italy.

He was born in Revere and was the beloved husband of Carmella (Colantonio) and the late Gladys (Morriss); devoted father of Lucille Schembri and her husband, John of Everett, Michael Jr. and his wife. Joan of Raymond NH, Theresa Rizk and her husband, Lewis of Saugus and the late Maria Keogh and Frank Corso; dear brother of the late Rosie Cirino, Anthony Vigliotte, Millie Rasa, James Villiotte and Joseph Vigliotte and is also survived by his sister in-law Grace Villiotte, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Claire Campbell

Worked for Sears Roebuck

Claire Y. Campbell of Exeter, NH, formerly of Seabrook, died Friday, July 27 at Exeter on Hampton Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was 83 years old.

Mrs. Campbell was born April 26 1929 in Haverhill, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Irene E. (Surette) DuBreuil of Everett. After raising her family, she worked for 13 years as a part time clerk at the catalog desk of the Sears Roebuck & Co. Store in Saugus. She attended St. Joseph’s School in Everett and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Malden.

The widow of Thomas F. Campbell, who died in 2004, family members include a daughter, Susan Lepito of Amesbury and three sons, Thomas F. Campbell, Jr. and Wayne M. Campbell, both of Newton, NH and Brian J. Campbell of Kingston, NH; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Patricia Bleiler of Winthrop, and several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn Mosley

Of Florida, Formerly of Everett

A graveside service was held for Evelyn (Burley) Mosley at Glenwood Cemetery with Reverend Gerald Osterman officiating.

Mrs. Mosley was born in Everett on July 17, 1961. Recently, she lived in Florida but grew up in Everett and attended the Everett schools. She was a housewife raising two children. She was one of six children of Irene (Gould) Burley.

She was the former wife of the late Robert Desmond who predeceased her in 2006 and is survived by her husband, Paul Mosley of Florida and her two children, Stephen and Adam Desmond; four sisters: Diane Mallett of Revere, Michele Paradis of Chelsea, Patricia Wade of Everett, Lisa Dellisola of Derry, NH and her brother,

Arthur Burley

of Florida.
