Local Police Organization to Hold Fundraiser March 31

BADGE Inc., (Blue Affiliation for the Development of Great Events) an affiliation of local police officers from various cities and towns, members of the Massachusetts State Police and community leaders will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, March 31st starting at 7:00 PM, at Anthony’s of Malden (105 Canal street) to help Eric “DJ Littles” Palmariello.

Palmariello, an instrumental member of BADGE Inc, as their resident DJ, has been diagnosed with Gastric Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma, a form of stomach cancer.  The group from BADGE Inc, is holding the fundraising event to help Eric as he undergoes extensive treatment for his illness.

Badge, Inc. organized events and fundraisers to help many organizations throughout the city including Zion Church Ministries, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the State Department of Children and Families. The organization hosts the Annual Mass Law Enforcement Harbor Cruise, with proceeds going to charitable organizations.  Year after year the group has been recognized for their tireless and dedicated service to the community.  This past January, Zion Church Ministries recognized BADGE Inc. with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Award at the annual Martin Luther King Scholarship Breakfast.

“I’m extremely impressed with the level of dedication BADGE Inc. has given to our community,” noted Mayor DeMaria, “I’m also touched that the group is dedicated to helping others in time of need.  Eric is a great member of my family and the Everett family.  We have the opportunity to show our true Everett pride, helping others when they need it most.”

“This has been one of the toughest event that I’ve had to help coordinate and I’m overwhelmed with the show of support that we have been getting,” notes Raoul Goncalves, President of BADGE Inc. and an Everett Police Patrolman. For more information regarding Badge, Inc., or for tickets to the fundraiser for Eric “DJ” Palmariello please contact Angela Goncalves at 617-823-0280, or online at www.massbadge.com.
