The Boston Globe printed an interesting story over the weekend about high school football injuries and their impact on local athletes in the affected cities and towns.
Everett, the Globe indicated, was at the top of the list for football related injuries among a large number of cities and towns.
The numbers apparently don’t lie. Therefore, it might be a nice idea for the School Department to discuss the issue of football injuries at one of its public hearings, and to hear from head coach John DiBiaso what he has done to mitigate this problem for his players on the Crimson Tide football team.
