And Speaking of the Schools

It is still a bit early in August to seriously be talking about going back to school and we are sensitive about that.

Just the same, the school committee and the school administration led by Superintendent of Schools Fred Foresteire are right now in a day-to-day battle to create the environment necessary to accommodate almost 6,400 students who will be attending the Everett Public Schools when the first bell sounds in a few weeks.

This is no easy task as the school population here is rising from week to week and has been for the past decade.

More and more working class families with positive aspirations for their children are moving here to take advantage of what the Everett schools have to offer.

Everett residents take great pride in their public schools – and with good reason.
